North Medical Urgent Care at 5100 West Taft Road, Liverpool, New York.

I brought my 78 year old father to North Med Urgent care on the night of 4/23/18. He had fallen face first on the cement floor of his garage. He was bleeding from his head, nose and mouth. They did a ct scan of his head and an xray of his head and neck. My father complained to them that although his face looked real bad, his neck hurt the worst. They came back with the results and they said nothing was broken. They sent us home for the night and said to use Tylenol for the pain and triple antibiotics for the open wounds.

The following morning I brought my father to his primary physician where it was confirmed that my father had a broken nose. This was news to us. While we were still there, I got a text message from my fathers cleaning lady that North Med called and left a message saying... "they got more test results from the prior night and they urgently need him to call back and that they highly recommend more care and urgent attention to the results they got back." We were still at my fathers primary Dr and I told him this info. The primary had his nurse contact North Med and they were concerned of a possible neck fracture. My fathers primary immediately sent my father by ambulance to Crouse hospital where it was confirmed that my father has a fracture in his C1 & C2 of his neck. We went to this place expecting professional service. We are lucky that my father isn't paralyzed. We are still at Crouse ER doing more tests to confirm our treatment options.
